UNIX home directory dot files as of Wednesday, December 1, 2004 4:31:01 PM

to use, download the files, put them in your home directory and remove the leading "dot" from each filename.
just in case your browser (or other chosen download method) is broken, check the permissions... 600 or 644 is probably best.

.bash_profile: settings for the bash shell dot.bash_profile
.exrc: settings for the vi (vim, ex, etc.) text editor dot.exrc
.muttrc: settings for the mutt mail reader dot.muttrc
.lynxrc: settings for the lynx web browser dot.lynxrc
.bbsrc: settings for DOC based bbs clients dot.bbsrc
.tcshrc: settings for the tcsh shell dot.tschrc
